Quality inspection of printed sheet

CAPABILITIES  ·  QUALITY CONTROL

Quality Is What You Don't See.

A well-printed book has no surprises. Getting there requires a system that catches what everyone else misses — at every stage, on every sheet.

The 7-Stage QC System

1

File Preflight

Every file reviewed by our prepress team for bleed, resolution, color profiles, and font embedding — before plate-making begins.

2

Pre-Press Proofing

Digital contract proofs generated and approved by both client and our master colorist before production.

3

Plate Verification

CTP plates inspected for dot gain, registration marks, and color separation accuracy.

4

Press-Side Color Check

First-sheet approval by the master colorist. Spectrophotometer readings logged every 500 sheets during the run.

5

In-Run Inspection

Continuous visual and instrumental checks for registration, color drift, ink density, and physical defects.

6

Post-Press QC

Binding, finishing, and trim inspected on every batch. Spine alignment, foil adhesion, die-cut accuracy verified.

7

Final Inspection & Packing

Random sampling per carton. Packing integrity checked. Full batch samples archived for traceability.

We Check Before We Print

Before any plate is made, every file passes through our in-house prepress team. We don't just print what you send — we check it first.

Common issues we catch and resolve before production:

If we find an issue, we flag it with you — with explanations and recommended fixes — before any work begins. Because catching a problem in the file costs minutes. Catching it after printing costs thousands.

Every Project, Fully Traceable

We retain printed samples, press sheets, and QC logs from every production run for a minimum of 12 months. If you need a reprint, a reference, or an audit — we have the records.
