A Legacy in Every Sheet

Chromex Press was founded on a simple belief: that the finest printed books and packaging are not manufactured — they are crafted.

Our story begins over two decades ago at our dedicated production base in Shen Zhen — a 3,000-square-meter facility where 150+ skilled craftsmen have been perfecting their trade for a generation. From this foundation, we've grown to serve publishers, galleries, luxury brands, and creative studios internationally.

Headquartered in Hong Kong, Chromex Press unites old-world craftsmanship with modern precision. We're not a trading company. We're not a middleman. We are a source factory — and that means every promise we make is backed by the press on our own floor.

We measure color in ΔE units, not opinions. We specify paper in GSM, not "about right." In printing, precision isn't a feature — it's the foundation.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PRESS

The Master Colorist

He began his apprenticeship in Hong Kong during the 1980s — the golden era of Asian commercial printing. Back then, color was matched by eye, by instinct, and by years spent standing over a proofing table until the master said "yes."

Thirty years later, he still stands at that table. But now the apprentices are ours.

Every premium project that leaves our press floor passes under his eye. He signs off on color, on paper weight, on the weight of ink laid down per square inch. He doesn't speak much — but when he nods, we know we've done it right.

Our 3,000-square-meter production base in Shen Zhen houses 7 premium offset presses (Heidelberg & Mitsubishi), full in-house prepress and post-press capabilities, and a team of 150+ craftsmen — many of whom have been with us for over a decade.
